Getting Started
This game is about as customizable as you can get. You pick a character, give him stuff, and send him on his way.
Each Character Type has Attribute and Gear Points which you can spend on Abilities, Weapons, ect.
Each Character Type's Starting Points are different, giving them individual strengths and weaknesses.
During the game you'll be able to purchase some of these and more using Fuel and Food as currency.
After you're familiar with these stats, you're ready to
create a character.
After you've got a character, you make him roam the Wastelands of Earth searching the wreckage for signs of life,
and the supplies you'll need to survive. Heck, survival is the name of the game. Even if that means killing
anyone you find, just for his stuff. You'll need that stuff, and not everyone's into sharing anymore.
You keep track of your position by refering to a grid reference on the current game's map.
When two or more players are within range, they may combat, sometimes to the death.
Don't fret if you die--just make up another character. They're expendable. ;-)
Note: If you die and wish to create a new character, he's got to be of a different type than your previous one.
1.CHARACTER TYPES |
- Highlander-Immortals [Attri.Pts:10|Gear Pts:20]
(Each comes with his own nifty sword, but the sword isn't very effective against non-Highlanders)
The only sane ones. They roam the Wastelands alone, not fearing death, but always
on the lookout for more of their own kind because, in the end, there can be only one...
- Fanatic Survivors [Attri.Pts:6|Gear Pts:25]
These are humans who formed their own religious groups and hid in underground shelters before the Millenium occured.
They knew it was the only way to escape the coming storm. Now they're out, and convinced that they're the only race
with a right to live. They're the richest in the sense that they have the most stuff in good condition.
- CyberDroid [Attri.Pts:*|Gear Pts:22]
An army of artificial super-soldiers was created and stored underground. Now they are awakened, and war has been declared!
They start with the Mech Know-How and Super-Strength Attributes.
- Mutated Humans [Attri.Pts:12|Gear Pts:15]
Each one has a different ability augumented above normal levels, but all are horribly deformed and oogly.
- Monsters [Attr.Pts:15|Gear Pts:10]
The least human of the survivors, they still have the intelligence to drive a stick-shift. They have lots of
advantages in Resistance and close-combat.

2. VEHICHLE TYPES
(listed with Maximum Speed, Miles Per Gallon, and Gear Points required to purchase) |
- Motorcycles [Max.Spd:170 MPH|MPG:15|Pt.Cost:5]

Ideal for going short distances, or for rapid attacks on others.
- Cars [Max.Spd:120 MPH|MPG:10|Pt.Cost:10]

Speedy, economical, and well-equipped. You can fine-tune yours with armour, weapons, and special personalized little things.
- Trucks [Max.Spd:80 MPH|MPG:8|Pt.Cost:12]

More rugged than cars and bikes, and they can hold more stuff. They just don't go as fast.
- All-Terrain Vehichles [Max.Spd:50|MPG:6|Pt.Cost:15]

The toughest of them all! Want a Hummer to cruise around post-apocolyptic LA with? AND it has plenty of places to mount weapons!
